Planning on having a few people over for a New Year’s Eve bash? I’ve compiled a list of must have party items to help you count down to the New Year!

1. A Signature Cocktail. I’ve got a few ideas for you here if you need them.

2. A Bar Cart. What says party more than a drink station that can come to you! Gone are the days of your guests having to go to your kitchen to refill their drinks! With a bar cart, you never miss any of the action!

3. Festive Cocktail Napkins. Whether it’s just a solid color or ones with a fun saying, these are always a nice touch to any gathering.

4. Appetizers. New Year’s is for grazing, so serving a bunch of appetizers is definitely the way to go! Here’s a few recipes to get your taste buds singing!

5. Festive Decor. I love paper banners with fun sayings, balloons, and streamers – all in metallics, black, and white of course.

6. Fun Cups. Whether it’s a champagne glass or a colorful paper cup, make sure to get a bunch because people tend drink more when they have so many hours to hang out before midnight.

7. Festive Party Pics. You’ll love using these cheers party pics for those appetizers and cocktails!

8. A Selfie Spot. You’ll have a lot of time on your hands until the big countdown begins, so you might as well give people something to do! You know they’ll be taking photos of themselves anyway, so you might as well give them a festive spot to do it in! I like using a streamer backdrop or metallic paper fans.

9. Themed Plates. Party plates are always so much more fun than plain ones! Plus, it makes cleanup at the end of the night so much easier!

10. Glitter Flatware. Nothing says “Let’s Party!” like sparkly silverware!

11. Party Poppers. Whether they be filled with confetti or silly string, they’re fun for all ages!
