It’s no secret that I love craft stores. My favorite of them all though is Hobby Lobby. I can never enter that dangerous store without coming out with twice as much as what I went in for. So if you’re like me, you need a plan going in. Here, I’ve detailed the ways in which I save the most money when I enter this crafter’s paradise.
Sales Ad. The sales ad is a great place to start BEFORE you even walk through those double doors. Here’s something you may not know – Hobby Lobby alternates the weeks it has items on sale. For instance, if scrapbook paper isn’t on sale this week, it most likely will be next week. This is especially important to remember if you’re purchasing items for a wedding, a specific DIY project, or something similar.
Online Coupon / App. So, say you get to Hobby Lobby and there is something that catches your eye that is not on sale. This is when you can bring out your 40% off any item coupon. This coupon can be found on their website (you’d need to print it out before you leave the house) or they have it more conveniently located on their app. I have no shame – I’ll even use this on a product that’s a dollar. I love saving money wherever I can!
Walk the Perimeter of the Store. In all Hobby Lobby stores, there is one to three clearance sections. You’ll find them on the perimeter walls of the store. These sections are generally not well organized and most definitely out of season, but there’s always a great find or two in there if you feel like digging.
I hope these tips help you save a few pennies on your next craft store trip!
