I love the smells of fall – cinnamon, pumpkin, and yumminess fills the air. But today’s post is all about how you can bring those heart-warming smells into your home and keep the fragrance in the air throughout the winter.
These easy to make orange and cinnamon “ornaments” are perfect for a rustic holiday season! Here’s the details on how to make them:
Ingredients
- twine
- dehydrated oranges
- cinnamon sticks
Step One. First, you’ll need to slice your oranges and dehydrate them either using a food dehydrator or using your oven at a low temperature (See those instructions here ). Step Two. Cut a piece of twine about 3 feet in length. Take turns threading the twine through the orange slices and tying a knot around cinnamon sticks. I used 3 orange slices and 3 cinnamon sticks per ornament, but you could definitely make them larger or smaller.
Step Three. Trim off any extra twine on the bottom of your ornament. Make a loop and tie a knot in the other side.
