30 Ways to Get The Most Out of Your Life

This post is sponsored by AVA Grace Vineyards. All photos and opinions are mine and should not be used without permission.

We live in such a fast-paced world. Everywhere you turn, there’s another responsibility, meeting, or task that must be done. So when we’re feeling like we’re at the end of our ropes, how do we get that spark back? How we keep ourselves going when life is just overwhelming? On the blog today, I’ve compiled a few ideas to help you get your mojo back and take control back of your life!

Explore.

Go outside. Go on a road trip. Visit someplace new. Take a long drive and wander around. When we allow ourselves to explore a new location, it opens up our minds to new people, places, and experiences and helps us get out of our ruts. And you can do this wherever you are.

Get Organized.

Living amongst clutter is a sure fire way to feel down in the dumps about yourself. Get it cleaned up! Tackle one room at a time. Donate what you don’t need anymore. Purchase shelves and bins to organize a space. Clean out your car. When you clean up your space, you clean up your life!

Take Photos.

I once saw a photographer do a “day in the life” session with a female entrepreneur and it was just the greatest session ever. It depicted her getting her kids ready for school in the morning, making breakfast, getting to work, sitting at her desk, driving in the car, reading her kids a bedtime story, and having some quiet time alone after they went to bed. It was perfect because it was showing that woman just as she was and it was creating a tangible product for her to remember that stage of her life in. You could do this too! Take photos while you make breakfast. Ask those around you to take a picture while you’re driving. I guarantee you’ll see a different side of your day by seeing your routine from a different perspective.

Try Something New.

Take a new route home from work. Make a new recipe. Meditate. Get a spa service you’ve never had before. Volunteer at your favorite local charity. Create a “bucket list” of life goals. Go see a movie alone. Try a DIY project from your Pinterest board. Unplug and don’t use technology for a day (good luck!). Breaking out of the normal routine and injecting some fun is a great way to spice up your day!

Get Physical.

Go for a half-day hike in the woods. Run through a field. Take an evening stroll on the beach. Window shop at the mall. Do pushups and sit-ups during commercial breaks. Get a group of friends together and play laser tag. Take a workout class at the gym. Dance in your living room. Getting exercise is the fastest way to boost your mind and get you out of your funk. Plus, a little sweat never hurt nobody.

Eat and Drink.

Y’all know I love food. It’s because of this, that diets just don’t work for me. But I know many people that are able to stick to diets and good for you! But you know what will help your mental health? Forget the diet for a day. Enjoy a guilt-free day of eating and drinking whatever you want and whenever you want it.

Not on a diet? How about you just try something new at your favorite restaurant? We’re such creatures of habit, so break that mold and try something else that you’ve never tried on the menu! Or even better, try a new restaurant! You might want to check the review first, but there’s excitement in visiting a new place and seeing what they have to offer.

Make your own new drink or try something you’ve had your eye on at the store. These AVA Grace wines caught my eye right away because of their beautiful labels. (I’m such a sucker for pretty packaging). They offer Pinot Grigio and Rose in cans (and also have gorgeous bottles) and they’re the perfect beverage to take to the beach, on your hike, or sip on during that dance party in your living room. They’re super light and refreshing for summer and make a great hostess gift too for any parties you’ll be attending this season. The Rose is perfect when paired with a light salad, grilled fish, or goat cheese and the Pinot Grigio tastes great with pesto chicken, pasta with alfredo sauce, or creme brulee.

Are you noticing a pattern here? Everything I’ve talked about involves changing up your routine and injecting some new or different element to spice up your day. It’s amazing how easily we can get in a rut by doing the same thing every day, so combat it by spicing things up a little.

Use the store locator here to find some near you!
