We love using our RV! Especially right now, it’s so great to be able to take our little home on wheels with us on our adventures!

One thing that’s a must for any kind of trip, is snacks. There are road trip snacks that you eat while you’re on the road driving, and then there are snacks that you have on hand to throw in a backpack when you head out for a hike. Today, I’m going to show you those RV snacks that we make sure to have on hand so we’re always ready for an adventure!

When packing your day pack, you’ll want to include items to nibble on that won’t melt, don’t need refrigeration, and don’t need utensils in order to eat it. If you’re scratching your head and not sure what that would entail, I’ve got a list here of perfect snacks for you!

Items that are good for snacking while on an adventure include…

Crackers.

Something like chips, pretzels, or crackers are always a tasty snack! Chances are, you’re going to sweat and your body is going to need some sodium replacement. Just make sure you bring plenty of water to quench your thirst and stay hydrated.

Trail Mix.

I have to admit, I’m not a fan or trail mix (I usually pick out the chocolate candies and eat those out of there), but it’s a totally different story when you’re out in nature and only have the options you brought with you. So find a trail mix you love (but choose one without chocolate in it – sorry) and put it in your pack!

Fruit.

Fruit is the perfect pick me up for when you’re out and being active. When I used to do long distance bike rides, snacks like bananas and oranges gave the perfect little quick burst of energy that my body needed to replenish when I was burning. Grapes, apples, and blueberries would be great for mess free snacking as well!

Veggies.

Just because you’re on the move, doesn’t mean you can’t eat healthy. Having easy to pack items like baby carrots and celery sticks on have are perfect for munching on once you get started down the trailhead.

Peanut Butter.

Just because you’re on the road doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy peanut butter.   SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Squeeze Pack is a mess-free snack, perfect for on-the-go!  SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs has you covered!

I got all of my snacks at Walmart. You can also order these SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Squeeze Pack on Walmart’s website for delivery or pickup. You can also click on the image below to add these SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs to your Walmart Online Grocery Pickup cart.

As always, be responsible in your snacking and NEVER leave your wrappers and trash behind!
