Easy Breakfast Casserole

January 8, 2022
Easy Breakfast Casserole

Every Sunday, my husband and I get together and make a grocery pickup order for Monday morning. This past week, he saw that I had refrigerated biscuits on the list and said excitedly, “does this mean you’re going to make that breakfast thing?”

You see, this recipe is one that we all just love. Everyone in the family will eat it (heck, even have seconds and thirds of it), and I love that it’s super easy to make and I don’t have to stand over a hot stove cooking away all evening in order for everyone to scarf it down in seconds.

Simple ingredients. + Simple execution = Food on the table faster.

Easy Breakfast Casserole

  • 1 can Grands biscuits
  • 1 package breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (any kind you like)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Cook and crumble sausage until no longer pink.
  3. Line the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish with the biscuit dough – firmly pressing to seal.
  4. Spread the sausage and cheese on top of the biscuits.
  5. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper in a medium bowl until blended; pour over sausage and cheese.
  6. Bake 25-30 minutes or until set. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting into squares; serve warm. Top with salsa, green onions, or hot sauce.
