Organic Valley Milk

November 17, 2022
Organic Valley Milk

Remember that old commercial… “Milk. It does a body good.”?

Or how about “got milk?”?

I have to say, the milk marketers have had some catchy slogans over the years. And why shouldn’t they? Milk and dairy products play a large role in the food pyramid.

So with all of the options out there for milk – whole milk, 2%, almond, soy, oat, etc., how do you know which one is right for you?

I’m not a huge milk drinker most of the time. In fact, if I’m going to drink milk, it’s going to be mixed with something like protein powder or hot chocolate powder mix. But I’ve been given the task of trying out a (new to me) organic milk brand – Organic Valley.

What’s different about this brand is that when they say “organic” they mean it – even down to the type of grass the cows graze on. Because when you’re thinking about the quality of the milk you’re drinking, that matters.

Organic Valley’s cows graze on over 1800 farmers’ small, regenerative pastures and never use artificial hormones, pesticides, antibiotics, GMOs, artificial ingredients, or fillers. Organic Valley farmers actually graze their cows50% more than organic requirements – which makes the cows happier and produces creamier milk.

This milk is creamy and delicious! It’s not watery at all and it’s perfect for drinking by itself, putting in your cereal or coffee, and using in recipes.
