Hands down the BEST key lime pie! 🍋🟩
Why I rated it the best:
☝🏼 that fluffy merengue on top is actually have the original key lime pie recipe was created. If it doesn’t have this, it’s not an authentic key lime pie.
✌🏼 the key like flavor should NOT smack you in the face and make you pucker. It’s a smooth flavor with a hint of bite – it shouldn’t be overpowering.
🤌🏼 the crust should be slightly crumbly. If that crust is packed tight – it’s not homemade.
