Nashville, TN is one of the best places in the south that a foodie can feel right at home – especially if you have a love for all things fried and southern like I do. So while on a recent trip to Nashville, I opted to try a breakfast/brunch place called Biscuit Love.
You know it’s good when you come around the corner of the street and see a line down the sidewalk coming out of the restaurant. The lined moved quickly, and as soon as I got the door, it opened, and the sweet sweet smell of fried chicken and homemade biscuits wafted thought the air. “YESSSSS” I thought. I’m pretty sure I smiled at that moment and looked like a complete crazy person smiling to herself. Oh well.
In looking at the menu, I decided on the Princess (biscuit, Nashville style spicy “hot chicken” thigh, pickles, mustard, and honey), and of course a glass of sweet tea. I made my way through the larger than I thought restaurant and found a table outside in the back. Maybe 5 minutes later, my food was at my table.
The chicken sandwich was definitely spicy, but it was oh-so-tasty! Everything is homemade that they serve there, so you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! If you’re ever in the area, make sure you stop by Biscuit Love!
