Simple Suppers – A Review

Simple Suppers – A Review

This post is sponsored by Simple Suppers.

Today I’m going to be reviewing a meal subscription box called Simple Suppers. I’ve tried a few meal subscription boxes in the past and I wanted to tell you about this one. In full disclosure, they sent me the box for free, but they genuinely wanted to know what I thought about it, so here we go…

The kit is pretty simple to figure out. Upon opening the box, I found two meal kits inside. One was for an Herb Pork Tenderloin with Onion Pan Sauce and the other was for Middle Eastern Meatball Bowls. I decided to go with the pork dish first, so that’s what I’ll be making here on the video.

After I read the instruction card and obtained the fresh groceries for the recipe, I got started on the recipe. Now, unlike other meal subscription boxes, this one is different in the fact that they don’t send you all the perishable items along with the box. Instead, you get those on your own.

I really like that because with other meal subscription boxes, they would always come at the most inopportune times and I would feel rushed to make the meals before the meat or veggies went bad in them. I also liked that the card gives you tips like “buy the pre-cut squash at the store” because they’re right, it absolutely saved me a ton of time and frustration by not having to peel and chop a butternut squash!

In preparing this recipe, I found it really easy to follow. Plus, there weren’t a ton of dishes dirtied in the process, so that’s always a plus for me since I absolutely hate doing the dishes! I’m also looking into trying some of their pasta dishes because they’re one-pot meals – now that’s what I’m talking about!

So if you’re looking to change up dinner, why not give Simple Suppers a try? And when you order your first kit, make sure to use my code “thehurriedhostess” for 15% off your first purchase AND 15% off you first renewal.

As always, if you liked this video, make sure you like it and share it with your friends! Happy Hosting!

If this meal says anything about their company, I can definitely tell you that their recipes rock! The pork was flavorful and juicy and the spice blends were perfect! Also, their recipes seemed to have bigger portions than other companies I’ve tried in the past as well.
