I have a love/hate relationship with food. I love to eat all the delicious things, but my waistline is not a fan. Why does good tasting food have to be so bad for you?
Out of frustration with where I’m at in my weight loss journey, I decided to try Snap Kitchen. This grab and go meal place is perfect for any kind of diet and taste. They offer meals for Paleo, Low Carb, Balance (just a healthier way to eat without any dietary restrictions), Whole 30, High Protein, and Camp Gladiator (perfect for people with a serious fitness regimen).
Everything is neatly laid out in the store by meal time (breakfast, lunch, snack, etc), so what you need can be found really easily if you’re looking to just stop in for one thing. They also have microwaves in the store, so you can eat there or on the go if you’re in a hurry. You can also pre-order your meals and pick them up already packed and ready to go. This is what I did and I was in and out of the Baybrook location within 4 minutes. That’s super helpful when you’ve got two kids to cart around with you.
If you need something a little more substantial than just a meal or two, I recommend doing their meal plan. With the meal plan option, you select the number of days you would like food for and the amount of calories per day you’d like to stay under. The system will then populate what the menu options available for that week are and will give you a complete list of 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. You can swap out any meals that you don’t think you’ll enjoy and it will be ready when you get there to pick it up. If they have any issues with an order (like they run out of something), they’ll send you a text before you go in on you scheduled pick up day and you can tell them what you’d like to have instead. They make it super easy so there are no surprises when you get to the store.
Look at all this food! This is the meal plan for 3 days and I ate well. I loved that all I had to do was pull healthy meal options out of the fridge and heat them up. So easy!
Every container has all of the ingredients and nutritional facts right there on the front of the package. There are no weird ingredients you can’t pronounce, preservatives, or bad for you stuff in there.
