With a certain virus on the rise and cold and flu season coming up, I thought why not share with you my recipe for an immune boosting salad dressing with avocado oil.
If you look into any kind of foods that promote natural health, you’ll find a lot of the same things: apple cider vinegar, turmeric, honey, lemon juice, etc. So in the nature of eating healthier and keeping our immune systems going strong, this healthy vinaigrette came to be.
So try this one today! It’s easy to put together, but I have to warn you – a little goes a long way!
IMMUNE BOOSTING SALAD DRESSING WITH AVOCADO OIL
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic grated or pressed
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 3-4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a mason jar, seal the lid tightly and vigorously shake to blend well. You can also add the ingredients to a bowl and whisk to blend, or add the ingredients to a blender and give it a good pulse a few times to blend.
