Best Burgers in Houston at Hopdoddy

This is a sponsored post by Hopdoddy but the opinions and photos are mine.

Have you ever sunk your teeth into something to eat and had this overwhelming sensation of “OMG this is the best thing I’ve ever eaten”? Well I have. I went to Hopdoddy in Rice Village, Houston, TX the other day and my mouth was not prepared.

Frank, the manager was so accommodating. Actually, his whole staff was amazing! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. But that’s not why you’re here is it – you wanna see the food!

So we started with cocktails (because that’s what you do when you finally get a break from the kids and you’re out with a friend). I got the “Mighty Mule” (of course) and my friend got that cute pink number there- the “Lil’ Prick”. The “Mighty Mule” features vodka, Maine Root ginger brew, and fresh lime juice. Yum! The “Lil’ Prick” is a prickly pear martini with tequila, lime juice, and black lava salt rim.

Now for the main event – the BURGERS! First up is my choice – the Primetime Burger. This delicious kobe beef burger seriously made my taste buds jump for joy! It’s topped with brie cheese, arugula, caramelized onions, truffle aioli, steak sauce and a tomato slice. This thing was so dang good! I had to pause for a moment after I took the first bite – I wasn’t ready for it. I’ve had a lot of burgers in my lie, but this one is definitely up there near the top as one of the best, if not the best.

As a side, I opted for the fries with green chile queso. I could have drank that queso dip. Yum!

My friend joined me and she opted or the lighter option – the Thunderbird. This chicken sandwich was topped with bacon, pepperjack cheese, poblano peppers, avocado, pico de gallo, chipotle mayo and lettuce. I had a bite of hers and it was pretty good too. There was a ton of flavor in it and who can say no to avocado? For her side, she chose the parmesan truffle fries with truffle aioli. They were pretty good too, but honestly you couldn’t tear me away from my queso dip. Ha!

Thanks for your hospitality, Hopdoddy! They have a couple different locations (and growing more every day), so make sure you stop by!
