Lively Beach

WHAT IS LIVELY BEACH REALLY LIKE? | CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS

Right off the coast of Corpus Christi, Texas is the long skinny island that is Mustang Island. Just down the road from the beautiful Port Aransas is the stunning new resort, Lively Beach. This is my second time visiting in the past year and I thought I might as well tell you about this beautiful resort and all of the amenities it has to offer.

The Property

The look is a beautiful Riad-style design that’s surrounded by preserved wetlands. It’s situated right across the dunes from the gulf. So for the best views, climb to the roof top deck at Surfrider or Mavericks for 360-degree views of the gulf and the bay.

The Amenities

Beach. The name of the game is sticking your toes in the sand and relaxing.

Resort style pool. There are also plenty of loungers, tables, chairs and even outlets… so if you must bring the laptop to stay on top of work you’ll be full charged! The early evening views from the Lively Beach are a MUST! The pool is also heated, so it’s always the perfect temperature – even in winter!

Best kite-surfing on the Texas coast. This is a super popular location for those looking to catch some waves!

Fishing off the walkable beachfront jetty.

Ride your bike on the beach. You can also take a golf cart as well.

Hiking. Walking on the sand is a great workout and there’s always something new to find like seashells and jellyfish!

Gathering spaces. Lively Beach boasts two roof top decks with amazing views, cool trade winds and places to relax. The Beach Club offers multiple grills and seating areas to enjoy the perfect meal outside. Each unit has a picnic set up so you can enjoy these outdoor gathering areas conveniently.

The Rooms

These spaces are spacious, gorgeous, and so welcoming. One of my pet peeves in the hospitality industry is when hotel rooms offer a kitchen but nothing to cook with. This is definitely not the case with Lively Beach! They have plates, cups, mugs, and bowls but also pots and pans to cook with. They even have measuring cups! So rest assured, you’ll be able to cook in your own space and enjoy it without having to bring your own kitchen tools with you.
