Love Languages & My Romance Fail

This post is sponsored by FTD Flowers. All photos and opinions are mine.

My hubby has always been pretty romantic. When we were in college, he used to leave a flower with a note on my car periodically just to say that he loved me and was thinking of me. It was so sweet! One day, I tried to return the favor and totally put the note on the wrong person’s truck. Oye! And adding more to the story, the guy who owned the truck, found my husband and gave it to him! Ha! Talk about embarrassing!

Over the years, it’s gotten harder and harder to be spontaneous like that still. With jobs and two kids, we don’t have a ton of time for romance. But one thing that he may not admit is that he loves getting flowers almost as much as I do. You see, my husband’s Love Language is gifts, so anytime I see something and think of him, I know I need to get it. By the way, if you don’t know your spouse’s Love Language, I highly recommend taking the free test.

So this year, along with FTD Flowers, I’m gifting him his own bouquet of flowers! This beautiful bouquet is called the Stunning Beauty Bouquet and actually comes in that glass vase you see pictured. I chose this arrangement specifically because of the Casablanca lilies in it. You see, my wedding bouquet had those same gorgeous white lilies in it, and I wanted to have a little nod to our special day.

My husband and my relationship has changed so much since we got married over 10 years ago. It’s so amazing to me to see where we started as two young kids in love and where we are now. We’ve laughed together. We’ve cried together. We’ve grown together. I am so thankful for him, the hard work he does every day to provide for our family, and the father figure he is to our children.

If you’d like to gift your love a beautiful bouquet of flowers or maybe your best friend, FTD Flowers is there to help! Use this link for 20% off your arrangement!
