Beer, Sausage, and Cheese, oh my!
When you think Oktoberfest, what do you think of? I bet it’s lederhosen, bratwurst, and, oh yeah, beer!
I’ve personally never been to a real Oktoberfest celebration, but I get the gist of it. It’s all about enjoying yourself with your friends and enjoying some delicious food and drinks!
So this month, instead of serving up a delicate charcuterie board, why not have fun with it and make it a manly grazing board with an Oktoberfest twist?
What are some common Oktoberfest foods?
Oktoberfest foods can vary, but the most traditional celebrations serve roast chicken, roast pork, roasted ham hock, grilled fish on a stick, sausages, pretzels, potato or flour dumplings, spätzle (cheese noodles), potato pancakes, sauerkraut, and cheese spread.

How do you assemble a grazing board?
I like to start with the bigger items and work my way smaller. For this board, I went big with ingredient size, so giant wedges of cheese were first. Then I added in the soft pretzels and sausage. Lastly, I put in the bowls of sauerkraut, fried onions, and a few blueberries and blackberries?
