I will be the first to admit that I am, in fact, a chocoholic. I really do have a problem. I love chocolate in any shape and form and I’m always willing to try a new form of it. Recently, Once Again sent me their Amore Hazelnut Spread. As a lover of the other brand, I was intrigued as to how this one would stack up. I have to say, I think I like Once Again’s better. It has a slightly grittier texture (ever so slightly), and just tastes so much fresher. I had the kiddos test it out and they ate it up too!
Much like another well known chocolate hazelnut brand, it comes in a jar and is ready to use on pastries, fruit, ice cream, and much more. In fact, I’ve had some chocolate hazelnut spread brownies that were out of this world chewy and delicious!
But let’s get back to this stuff. First off, one major difference it has from that other well known brand is that it’s certified organic, gluten free, Non-GMO, and fair trade certified. It’s a great source of protein and even has less fat than the leading brand! The down side? The price point on this brand is higher, however that’s what always happens with an organically certified product versus a non-organic one. To find some near you, you can use this store locator.
