If you live in the South, chances are you’ve had a version of pimento cheese before. It’s a super easy recipe that you can make with a few simple ingredients and in almost no time it’s ready!
Pimento cheese sandwiches was always something the girls in our house liked – i.e., my mom and I. My dad and brother would turn their noses up at it because it didn’t have meat in it, but my mom and I could make ourselves sick eating the leftovers of this delicious spread. And that’s usually when we got to eat it too – after we had hosted a baby shower or something like that. My mom has always been someone who liked to make easy (but delicious) snacks and appetizers for parties, and pimento cheese finger sandwiches were always a crowd favorite. Here’s her recipe for the best dang pimento cheese ever!
Uses for it:
- on crackers
- served as a dip with celery, carrots, or other crudités
- sandwiched between two slices of bread
