This is the story of how I became friends with my AirBnB host.

But whether you’re an AirBnB newbie or a seasoned pro, I can guarantee you’ve never stayed in anything like this.
A couple years ago, I was invited to a girls weekend at Dwell Well’s Garrett House. The house was gorgeous and the owner, Kimberly, thought of every detail we could possibly need – and then some. You see, not only is Kimberly’s style impeccable, but her love of hosting and showing love to people is unmatched.
Weeks before we even got to Kerrville, she provided us with great ideas for places to eat, things to do, and sights to see. Since that first visit, Dwell Well has added two more properties and this past weekend I was able to visit the latest one – Tivy Cottage.
The Garrett House
2 Bed, 2 Bath, Pool, Outdoor Shower
I had the pleasure of staying in the Garrett House twice before. The first time was for Toast From the Host’s Girls Weekend and the second time, I took the kids and stayed for the weekend. It’s the perfect stylish space for a weekend (or week) full of relaxation and fun! I love the serenity of the pool with it’s beautiful blue tiles, the natural light streaming into the kitchen, and the pops of color throughout the whole home. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
The Miller’s Cottage
2 Bed, 1 Bath, Outdoor Games, Fire Pit
If you’re looking for a colorful space right in town, this is it! Kerrville is super close to a lot of Texas wineries, so you’ll definitely want to stay here so you can be close to all of the action! This is the only property I haven’t stayed in, so I can’t really comment on what it’s like, but if it’s anything like Dwell Well’s other properties, they have thought of every amenity you could ever want and some you didn’t even know you needed.
Tivy Cottage
4 bed, 2 bath, Hot Tub, Outdoor Shower, Herb Garden, Fire Pit
Have a larger group you’re traveling with? The Tivy Cottage is perfect for your needs then! This is Dwell Well’s latest property (like, just finished up construction two weeks ago) and it’s their biggest endeavor yet! It can sleep 6 and would be perfect for a family or group of friends that needs a little getaway. It’s got a funky vibe and colorful decor – even a brass rabbit with a mustache and a monocle that we lovingly named Charles while we were visiting.
You’ll also see some really unique touches in her properties – like the Tivy Cottage has a guest book that encourages doodling and a record player that is perfect for living room dance parties. This may be her best property yet. And I can’t wait for you to see it in person…
