Toast & Twirl Workshop 2017

August 15, 2017

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, let me introduce you Toast From the Host – aka Lauren B! She’s the creative mastermind behind some amazing workshops for people who love to create around Houston, Texas and her big event every year is the Toast and Twirl Workshop.

When I say her designs are over the top, I mean it! She has an incredible eye for detail and an emphasis on fun!

This year’s workshop was held near Minute Maid Stadium, at Rec Room. This funky space was the perfect place to host our large group of ladies who were ready to get their craft on!

So what did we do? The Toast & Twirl Workshop offered 4 different hands-on classes: paper flower design (Alaan Studios), craft cocktails (Elle Talk), hand lettering (Kristen Leigh Lettering & Design), and doughnut decorating (Wink By Erica). It was SO fun! Everyone had such a great time trying their hand at new activities and boy did those instructors make it look easier than it actually is!

Lauren is a girl after my own heart because she loves to eat – and feed people. So of course, the food selection was out of this world! The breakfast selection from Fellini and lunch from Escalante’s definitely didn’t disappoint.

And of course, in true Toast From the Host style, all of the designs were totally photo-worthy!

What a fun day! I can’t wait until next year’s workshop to see what Toast From the Host has up her sleeve!
