Turkey Guacamole Pinwheels

This post has been sponsored by the makers of HERDEZ® Salsa & WHOLLY® Guacamole. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Isn’t it funny how fashion of decades ago seems to be coming back?

The chunky heeled shoes, the mom jeans, and the bodysuits are back in full force. Though I’m not mad about the overalls coming back because I will always love them.

So with this bit of nostalgia in the air, why not make a new version of some old classics?

That’s exactly the thought process I had in creating these turkey and guacamole pinwheel roll-ups that are made with WHOLLY® Guacamole Bowl

Classic Mild and HERDEZ® Verde Salsa from Randalls. I remember seeing them at baby showers, weddings, potlucks, and family get-togethers all the time as a kid, and now it’s time to introduce these little rolled gems to a new generation!
Pinwheels or tortilla roll-ups are super easy to make and you can put whatever you like in them! I recommend starting with a protein, adding something with a flavor punch, and then finishing it with a binder to keep it intact. Some of my favorite combinations have been cream cheese + turkey + ranch dressing mix and spinach + roasted red pepper + mozzarella cheese.
But today’s pinwheels are going to have a Tex Mex twist on them! These little rolled-up delights feature WHOLLY® Guacamole Bowl Classic Mild, HERDEZ® Verde Salsa, diced tomatoes, and turkey from Randalls. WHOLLY® Guacamole is made with no preservatives and the avocados are handpicked at their peak of freshness. Using WHOLLY® eliminates the hassle of making the guacamole yourself while still providing that homemade quality, such a time saver! Randalls is the perfect place to get all of the ingredients you need because they always have a huge selection! And the Randalls app makes it so easy to shop this summer! No need to get out in the heat and haul those grocery bags around – schedule a pickup and you’re in and out in no time!

These roll-ups are a little messy, but this no-cook appetizer is oh so worth it.

This Fourth of July, don’t get heated in the kitchen, get rollin’! These no-cook appetizers are easy, delicious, and are sure to keep you cool this summer!
