Daddy's French Toast
Thick and fluffy french toast is the perfect breakfast or brunch item. A little topping of butter and powdered sugar and you've got a recipe everyone will love!

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups milk
- 12 eggs
- 18 slices day-old French bread 1 inch thick
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon butter
Beat the flour, sugar, salt, milk, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon with a beater until smooth.
Soak bread in the batter until saturated.
Heat butter in a skillet. Carefully transfer each bread slice to skillet, do not overcrowd. Cook bread over medium heat 12 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve with butter and a dusting of powdered sugar.
