When I was in college, Spring Break meant my friends and I would be headed out of town to the beach. I look back at some of those photos now and it’s so funny because I can remember every single detail of those trips. We were spontaneous, adventurous and we always returned with some crazy stories!

Terrible quality, I know...but what can you expect from a disposable water proof camera from 2004? This photo is of my husband and I before we were officially Terrible quality, I know…but what can you expect from a disposable water proof camera from 2004? This photo is of my husband and I before we were officially “a couple” on Spring Break with our friends in South Padre Island, Texas. Another blast from the past - Spring Break 2015 - We went to Destin, Florida on a road trip with our friends. We were such babies! Life now is a little more subdued. We don’t get a “spring break” from work, so those spontaneous trips are nothing but a faint memory. But I’ve figured out how to make the most of Spring Break!

Whether you’re going on a trip or staying in town, you need to be prepared for fun wherever the day takes you! This is exactly why I have my spring break kit! This grab and go bag is easy to snatch up when you’re walking out the door to head to the pool, beach, or park. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A bag to hold everything in that can leave hung up somewhere for easy grab and go access.
  • Sunglasses to prevent those squinting forehead wrinkles from forming.
  • A good book that you can lose yourself into.
  • A tasty beverage you can sip and enjoy.

The great part for me is finally opening that book that I’ve been seriously neglecting, and enjoying a beverage like Diet Coke®.

In fact, in addition to the original Diet Coke® , Diet Coke is getting a makeover while keeping the same great taste it’s always had! Some great new flavors you might want to try include Diet Coke® Feisty Cherry, Diet Coke® Ginger Lime, Diet Coke® Twisted Mango, and Diet Coke® Zesty Blood Orange. This new line is encouraging women and men everywhere to step out of their comfort zones, try something new, and be a little more spontaneous! Interested in trying it for yourself? Use the Ibotta app now, to save! Earn $1.25 with the purchase of 1 Diet Coke® 8-pack, 12 oz. cans (any variety), along with any brand of avocados (any variety, any size). Both products must be purchased on the same receipt to receive credit for this rebate. I found mine at Randalls on an end cap near the canned goods, so make sure to check those ends of the aisles when looking for these fun new flavors.

Spring doesn’t have to just be about the wild and crazy adventures to be enjoyable! You can stay in town or make a weekend trip away and enjoy yourself anywhere you find yourself! So go out there, try something new and live your most interesting life!
