Fool-Proof Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 can 15 ounces pumpkin puree
  • 1 can 12 fluid ounces evaporated milk,
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch 4-cup volume deep-dish pie shell

Method
 

  1. Mix sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl.
  2. Add the eggs into large bowl and mix well.
  3. Stir in pumpkin mix.
  4. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  5. Pour into pie shell.
  6. Bake in preheated 425° F oven for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce temperature to 350° F; bake for 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  8. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
