Creating the perfect Asian dish couldn't be simpler with this tasty recipe! Hoisin garlic marinated chicken is placed inside crisp lettuce and topped with crunchy red cabbage and wonton strips. Now this is how you do taco night right!
Servings: 8 servings
Course: dinner, lunch
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bottle Soy Vay Hoisin Garlic Marinade & Sauce
  • 2 lbs chicken breast sliced thin
  • 8 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 cup red cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 cup wonton strips
  • 1 fresh pineapple sliced

Method

  1. Place the sliced chicken and Soy Vay marinade in a ziploc bag and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat a grill (or skillet) to high heat. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for a couple minutes on each side. If cooking in a skillet, add a tablespoon of oil to the pan. Once hot, add your marinated chicken in batches. Don't overcrowd the pan or it won't cook correctly.
  3. Place the romaine lettuce leaves on a plate and fill it with the chicken.
  4. Add to the top of it the red cabbage and wonton strips.
  5. Serve with a side of the pineapple and enjoy!

Notes

If you want to really add some flavor, sprinkle the pineapple with cinnamon and grill it!
