In a stock pot, put 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Once it gets hot, add the diced onions, salt, and pepper, and cook until caramelized.
While the onions are cooking, combine the chili spice mixture. Once the spices are fully mixed, add them to the beef until well combined.
Once the onions are ready, add the chili meat in with them. Stir to combine and cook thoroughly.
Once the meat it cooked through, add the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve with rice, cornbread, or cheese and enjoy!
